This really enraptures me, Giegue was always meant to be this alien that you couldn't ever understand, eldritch in nature, but was defeated by a song, something we are all familiar with, including Giegue, especially this song, the eight melodies, Giegue couldn't understand their own emotions, so they retreated.
How poetic, an alien defeated by a feeling that was alien to them.
